Water saving & water collecting - Eco Logical lawn
New to the Australian market is Pro-tech Eco Logical lawn with its unique Water Capturing System (patent pending). This synthetic lawn not only does not need watering, it also collects water for other uses around the home.

It is a third generation mono-filament synthetic lawn which looks like natural lawn and even feels like it. It has now been released by local company Pro-tech.

Pro-tech Managing Director, Bill Rorke, says Eco Logical lawn, sourced from Europe, is a huge advance over the first two generations of synthetic turf.

"It has duplicated the single strand of grass which so many people favour in lawns," says Bill Rorke.

The other big advance is the new Pro-tech Water Capturing System (patent pending) which uses a sub-surface membrane to collect the water and a storage system to save the water to use on the garden, to top up a pool or to wash the car.

"The amount of water which can be collected from an Eco Logical lawn can provide water for the rest of the garden through dry times," says Bill.

Eco Logical lawn is ideal for situations where lawn will not grow easily such as: heavily shaded areas, inner city backyards, homes with small courtyards, around pools or even on balconies or roof top terraces. It is ideal under trees or for sloping areas where grass is difficult to grow.

It is perfect for young families as the lawn is certified 'soft-fall' for use in children's play areas which means that the lawn is soft and impact absorbing.

"Depending on the area, the total investment for a Pro-tech lawn system would be less than a good quality paving installation and significantly enhances the value of any property or location," says Bill.

Pro-tech products are used in a range of residential and commercial applications and also include synthetic putting greens which can be installed outside in the yard or on a terrace, or even inside.
