The no-water, no-maintenance putting green will be at the 2006 PGA Golf Show
Pro-tech, the Australian company behind the popular no-water, no-maintenance
synthetic putting greens, will be at the 2006 PGA Golf Show.
Pro-tech was founded in 2003 and introduced its high quality putting green
technology to Australia under a licence agreement with a leading US company.
The putting greens are part of the Pro-tech range and are unique as they perform
like a true championship green without the required maintenance of natural grass
greens. The technology used by Pro-tech is endorsed by many of the world's
leading golfers including Australians Peter O'Malley, Nick O'Hern and Wayne
Grady as well as other notable Australians such as former Prime Minister Bob
Hawke who had Pro-tech greens installed at their homes for personal putting
practice.
Pro-tech putting greens can be installed indoor or outdoor in residential
backyards, at corporate offices, apartment developments, resorts, hotels and
motels, or indeed for non-championship golf courses and driving ranges.
Pro-tech has also developed the unique Eco Logical Lawn based on European
technology which uses the process of 'fibrillation' to split the fibres and give
the lawn a grass-like look and feel.
A water capturing system, which Pro-tech has recently developed and patented,
can be installed beneath the Eco Logical Lawn to make the collection of rain
water easy.
